Mehr Design Studio started as a home based business in 1996. Bhavna Uppal, its founder and lead designer, wanted to create designs that customers could love as well as afford. She started designing clothes for friends, who recommended other friends, who told others. Over the years, Mehr came to specialize in wedding and special occasion attire. Our studio was opened in 2004 in Artesia, in the heart of Little India. Since its opening, Mehr Design Studio has created a buzz in the South Asian community. Our custom designed bridal clothes have highlighted many weddings. In fact, our business has grown even more by brides-to-be coming to our studio and saying, “I saw your clothes at the … wedding. They were beautiful. I want you to design my wedding outfits.” Recently, NBC featured our custom designed pieces on their daytime hit soap, Passions.

At Mehr Design Studio, we have a large selection of special occasion and bridal wear. Wedding attire includes clothing for the bridegroom, bridesmaids, groomsmen and the entire family. In addition, we can custom design outfits for all occasions and almost all budgets.
